The Knitting Club (Aka Stitch ‘n’ Bitch)
Thursday, April 7th, 2005
My friends Charlotte, Sara and I have decided to form an anti-”knitting snob” club where we can get together and knit or crochet and we can teach and help each other get better at it (and gossip and eat junk food while we’re at it). It’s really easy and fun and there’s no experience required so if anyone’s interested (and there is absolutely no snobbery allowed) just leave me a comment and I’ll let you know when our next session is. It is tentatively set for Charlotte’s new place in North Van sometime as soon as she is settled in. We most likely will make it a field trip to pick up some yarn and needles from a great knitting store in North Van called the Knit and Stitch Shoppe.
I’ve been crocheting for a few years now and I have decided to try my hand at knitting. It’s been a lot harder to get the hang of, but it helps to have people around to show you new and better ways of doing it. Anyway, our next meeting will be fun and we will also try and fit in some xbox playing time ‘cuz I’m dying to play Fable, and Charlotte has it! Yay!
