Stella is almost 7 months old! She’s sitting up, rolling over, and getting up on her hands and knees. It’s almost time to crawl so we need a bigger apartment!

Jeekers is very brave.

Stella loves her cats. She’s started to really notice them in the past few weeks. Everytime she sees them she laughs and laughs and tries to grab them. I held Jeekers close so she could feel her fur and Jeekers didn’t even mind a bit!

I came back from the gym this morning to see Stella occupied by her favourite thing these days… white tags. Yes, she loves to chew them and lick them and touch them. She loves them much more than the actual toys themselves. I snapped a few really cute photos of her so follow the link to more baby cuteness…

What am I supposed to do with this?!

Today is Stella’s 4 month birthday! She can start eating rice cereal now, but I just want to wait and check with the doctor first. I set up her high chair so she can get used to sitting in it and holding a spoon. She has mastered holding up her head so we can probably start feeding her at anytime now… but still I want to check with her doctor. She needs her 4 month shots so I’ll take her at some point this week.

Just a random picture I took today. I was going through her clothes to make sure she wears them all before she grows out of them and I forgot I had this cute little onsie from baby mexx…

tummy time!

Stella is now weighing around 14lbs!! She is grabbing onto things and learning to manipulate stuff with her hands. She is also getting more comfortable with tummy time and can hold her head up for quite awhile without getting frustrated. She’s trying really hard to roll over but is not quite there yet. She can scoot across the floor on her back so I have to be careful to keep an eye on her so she doesn’t hit her head.

I took this picture of my beautiful baby yesterday morning. I thought it perfectly captured her emerging personality. She has now grown out of her newborn clothes and we are on to her 3-6 months sizes. I can’t believe how fast she is growing. Get ready for some more pictures!

I was FINALLY able to get a picture of Stella smiling this morning so I had to post it right away! It happens so fast, usually she is distracted by the camera and stops smiling by the time I get the photo… Anyway, here it is!

Last weekend we had a visit from Clint’s cousin Tony and his wife Loresa. They just had their baby boy Anthony about 2 weeks after we had Stella. They were nice enough to drive all the way from Maple Ridge to downtown to see us.
