I enjoyed our trip to Seattle very much! I hope we will be able to go back sometime this summer and spend a little more time when the weather is nicer. It was a relaxing trip and just what I needed after the past few busy months.

Rowena and I went a little crazy last night, but it was fun. We wanted to go out for drinks and food after work to kick off the long weekend, so we decided to check out a little restaurant near her place called “Hapa Izakaya”.

Hopefully we will have nice weather next weekend because I’ve booked a little excursion for Clint and I to go to Seattle. It’s the easter long weekend so I thought it would be nice to get outta town for a couple days just the two of us. Especially since I’ve never really been to Seattle except to go to the airport. I figured out that we can take a train which leaves from Main Street and goes straight to downtown Seattle! Since we don’t have a car that makes things fairly easy and it was much cheaper than renting a car. I also booked a fabulous hotel down town so we’ll be able to check out the night life and do lots of shopping. Hooray for long weekends!

Spring is on it’s way!

It’s finally raining today. I was getting worried because we’ve been spoiled with a lot of sunshine the past two months. Usually this time of year is rainy for us. I would rather it rain now so we don’t have a “brown” summer.

Anyway, I haven’t posted for a while because I needed to just stand still for a little while. Things have been so hectic and stressful, it’s hard to keep up sometimes. Now that I have some free time until my next course starts I’ll be getting in some video games. I’m still on the first disc of Star Ocean and Clint is hounding me to play some World of Warcraft. I also wouldn’t mind getting back into Final Fantasy XI too. I have a knitting project on the go as well and a skirt to sew… ahhh so much to do so little time…

And so ends an extremely stressful week. I wrote my final exam yesterday night and I’m feeling quite confident that I passed. I managed to answer every question, but I guess we’ll see if I answered correctly. I get my results in early May.

As for work, I’ve been shuffled around again and I’m training at a new position. My brain is about to explode because of the overload of information I’ve had to pack in there. On top of that I’ve been covering other people’s desks as well. *sigh* Oh well, I’m going to watch the Grave of the Fireflies this evening with my husband and he’s going to cook me a nice meal so I can relax. If I’m lucky maybe I’ll get a foot massage. ^__^

I’m sick.

This week just keeps getting better. I stayed home the past 2 days because my left ear is full of fluid as a result of a nasty virus I have managed to pick up. I will spare you the gory details, but I’m pretty uncomfortable. Anyway, I thought it would give me a chance to study, but it’s kind of hard to read when your head is pounding…

My first knitting project!

Okay, there’s nothing new to report except work has been hellishly busy and I’m studying my buns off for my final which is coming up next week. In between all that I’ve been trying to learn how to knit. My good friend Charlotte came over the other day and showed me a lovely pattern to knit dishcloths. The picture above is my very first attempt! I know it’s hideous and full of holes… but I kept it because I never thought I would be able to knit since I only knew how to crochet.
