So today is the due date… but no baby yet! Which means we still have a chance to have the first new years baby. I’m trying to reserve energy as much as possible and I find that I’ve been really hungry the past couple days so it must be coming really soon. My bags are packed for the hospital so I hope she doesn’t keep us waiting too long!

Just a quick note to say Merry Christmas everyone! Clint and I are at home with our kitties this year taking it easy as we are still waiting for baby. I’m going to put my feet up and enjoy all the great food and video games until she comes, which I hope is very soon! Happy Holidays!

I had another ultrasound on Thursday morning because the doctor was concerned that my tummy shrunk over the past week. Of course everything was fine! I think it was because the baby’s head has now moved down into my pelvis which means we will be expecting her arrival anytime now! We also got confirmation that it is in fact a girl!! YAY!! So I ran out and bought her the cutest little outfit as shown above. We have decided her name will be “Stella”. They are estimating she currently weighs about 2.88 kilos (about 6lbs) and she has the chubbiest cheeks ever and she’s nice and plump and ready to come out at anytime! We can’t wait to meet her!

Last night was the big EA Christmas bash. It was a 70’s theme this year and even though I’m 9 months pregnant I was actually up for going to the party! We had a really nice meal with lots of entertainment. I’ll share with you a few photo’s we took.

I can’t believe it’s December already! A lot has happened in the past month. I’ve finished working as I’m now 36 weeks pregnant. The baby can come at any time now and on Friday it will be considered full term. I still have lots to do around the house to get ready for Christmas and the baby. Lot’s of cleaning and setting things up. It’s been snowing all this week! But nothing has stuck downtown, although it’s really blizzarding today!

I also realized it’s been a year since I started this blog! I’m really glad I did. It’s great to look back at everything happening over the year. I’m hoping to have time to update the layout before the baby comes.

Aside from that I’ve just been celebrating birthday’s and finishing things up at work. I still have to post about the awesome shower Freya threw for me, but likely the next time you’ll hear from me we’ll have a new addition to the family! We are so excited… and I’m a little scared… but the hospital I’m going to is really great and I know I’m in good hands.
